2b2f ist die erste Veröffentlichung des Duos Gabourey aus Hamburg & Köln. Die Musik der Band entsteht auf digitalen Wegen über Mails und Clouds, aus den Köpfen bis ins Mikrophon. 2b2f zeigt deutlich die Einflüsse, die Jakob aus seiner Zeit in Südafrika mitgenommen hat, zwischen Klave und fetten Synths. Der Text entwickelt sich von düsteren Gedanken über die Unzulänglichkeiten des eigenen Körpers zu einer Ode an ein gesundes Selbstbild unabhängig von Aussehen und der Urteile anderer.

2b2f is the first release of Gabourey, a duo from Hamburg & Cologne. The bands music is crafted on digital highways, via Mail and Cloud, from minds to microphones. 2b2f clearly shows the influences Jakob took from his time in South Africa, from clave to fat synths. The lyrics move from dark thoughts on the inadequacies of one's own body to an ode to a healthy self-image, unbiased by appearance and other people's judgements.
