Gabourey is the more of a rebirth than a reunion. When they first formed a band called KokeForTheKids back in the Myspace-Years, Jakob Engel and Henrik Demcker made a whole album of demos just to dissolve into nothingness over their own Yoko Ono. Years later, their musical and personal relationships rekindled, but they had grown up. Their tastes, inspirations and ideas of music had evolved.
